Our SkillsUSA team met today to discuss the upcoming competition season. SkillsUSA is a national organization designed to challenge students and sharpen their leadership and technical skills. SkillsUSA provides an avenue for students to compete in several career clusters, like computer programming, construction, automotive repair, culinary, digital media, STEM, and more!

Our Anatomy and Physiology classes are using their new Anatomage tables this week to identify body cavities, planes and sections using anatomical directional terms. A&P counts as a science credit course at PTHS. It's perfect for students interested in the healthcare field or life science in general!

#PineTreeCTE Welding students are currently reviewing safety standards in the shop and learning the proper use of tools and equipment. The PTHS Welding Program prepares students for the American Welding Society D1.1 Structural Steel and D9.1 Sheet Metal Welding certifications.
