Pine Tree High School’s Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) chapter is off to an amazing start in its first year! On December 6, the team competed in their first-ever Area competition at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, and their hard work paid off.
We are excited to share that four students from Pine Tree have advanced to the State TAFE Competition in Galveston! These students showed outstanding effort and skill in their events:
Riley Dillingham- Interactive Bulletin Board
Arlette Martinez- Children's Literature Pre- K Spanish
Jacqueline Valles- Exploring Support Services
Te'Nescia Ingram- Lesson Planning and Delivery Humanities
This is a huge achievement for our brand-new TAFE chapter, led by Mrs. Kathryn Darden, our Education and Training teacher. Mrs. Darden has done a fantastic job guiding these future educators and helping them reach their goals.
We are so proud of all the students who competed and wish the best of luck to those heading to State. Way to go, Pirates!
Stay tuned for more updates as they prepare to compete in Galveston.
